Bogus Telephone Calls

The Council has been made aware that bogus telephone callers are operating in the district. A few residents have received calls informing them that they are entitled to a council tax refund and asked to supply their bank details. 

Please be aware that the Council makes all refunds by letter and would warn residents against giving their bank details to unsolicited callers. We would also urge you to contact the Council on 812503 to report any incident.
